Updates on The Ghost Inside
As I'm sure you know, LA-based hardcore band, The Ghost Inside was involved in a serious bus accident while on tour back in November of 2015. Since the accident, the members of the band have been hospitalized with a number of injuries that are since being treated. While the past few months have been extremely tough for the band, singer Jonathan Vigil, announced some good news today on his recovery. Vigil, who suffered a fractured neck, back, ligament damage to the knee, two broken ankles, and other injuries, has announced that he was able to stand today! This is the first time Vigil has put any weight on his okay foot in two and a half months. He has hopes that he will be able to walk on it in a couple of weeks.
Other band members have released some updates as well. Guitarist, Zach Johnson was just released from the hospital about a week ago after a two month stay. During his stay, Johnson underwent a number of different surgeries in order to help him recover from various injuries. Unfortunately, not all of the band's members have been as lucky as Johnson and Vigil. Drummer, Andrew Tkaczyk announced about a week ago that he had lost a leg due to the tragic accident. Even through such tragedy, Tkaczyk has remained positive stating, "Not going to let it stop me. I don't care what anyone says. It's a long road ahead, but I WILL play drums again."
The band has remained hopeful over the past few months and could still use all the support that can be given from fans and listeners.
